Job Summary:
This role is primarily responsible for global income tax reporting pursuant to ASC 740. The Senior Tax Accountant role will support the global tax provision function along with the preparation of the Company’s U.S. federal income tax return. The functional area is split primarily between US and international tax concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for preparation of components of the quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740 guidance, including the related tax financial statement disclosures.
Assist in the management and review of the non-US tax provision calculations.
Assist with preparation of the Company’s federal, state, and US international tax compliance
Contribute to the department initiatives and/or implement process improvements
Support directors and managers with data requests for tax compliance and reporting matters
Develop and maintain relationships with others in the company to facilitate information gathering and understanding of the business
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process, including monthly/quarterly account reconciliations
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
CPA preferred, but not required
Advanced degree (MST, JD/LLM) preferred, but not required
Years and Type of Experience:
Two or more years of progressive tax experience
Multinational Corporation Experience
Experience with Big 4 accounting firms preferred, but not required
Experience with OneSource suite of software, including Income Tax and Tax Provision, is preferred, but not required
Experience with analytic tools, such as Alteryx or Power BI, preferred but not required
Experience with project management
