Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and implementation of the regional marketing plan as per the marketing strategy for dedicated Product Group (PG) or Area (A); in order to maximize ROI and meet sales objectives. To actively support and lead the tactical execution of the Regional marketing strategy across dedicated PG/A. To work with the Regional Marketing Leader, Commercial Leaders, SBUs (MDMs), EMEA, Clinical Educators, Product Specialists and other key commercial stakeholders to deliver marketing campaigns across the region, driving sales to achieve set budgets utilizing budgeted spend levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports the Regional Marketing/Commercial Leader in developing regional marketing strategies and plans for dedicated PG/A; in partnership with key commercial and clinical education stakeholders
Leads and manages a dedicated team of Marketing Coordinators/Marketing Specialists
Regional/Country Strategic Marketing Playbook (+related information) preparation, communication and execution for new product launches
PG/A level marketing communications planning and execution
Set up and execution of regional and country marketing plans for PG/A working closely with the Regional Marketing/CE Leader and MDM from the respective SBU and/or EMEA structure:
Use of global infrastructure (web, branding, collateral) in the local markets to execute in market strategy
Creation of local and country specific content / activities seeking agreement from SBU/EMEA via the Regional Marketing/Commercial Leader
Utilize the region and countries CRM system to build targeted campaigns to support country plans
Communicate to customers regarding updates, new products etc. as agreed with the Regional
Marketing/Commercial Leader
Support the training of sales team to ensure required knowledge is known – including, but not limited to, product information, product positioning vs competitors
Sales Team support - product knowledge and Dual calling to understand the needs of the sales team and customers
To be an active part of a project team for events
Collection and analysis of customer data/market research and identification of regional market requirements for current and future products
Competencies and Key Skills and Experience:
Previous marketing experience required, with a demonstrated record of success. Sales/marketing experience in a healthcare company is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional qualification
Analytical, planning, organisational and implementation experience working within marketing
Ideally some experience in a field sales capacity
Strong command of Microsoft Office and Internet applications
All actions and reporting of marketing activities are executed and communicated effectively and in a timely fashion
Ability to deliver against plans
Ability to utilize multiple marketing channel approach
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
Professional with proven ability to build appropriate relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
Self-motivated, conscientious with a desire to exceed
Displays initiative and enthusiasm for their role and company
Confident and articulate
Computer literate – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, CRM etc.
Strong results orientation and analytical skills
Excellent project management, planning, and implementation skills
Ability to convert marketing plans to action
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities
Demonstrated record of effective collaboration with field sales
Actively articulates and promotes DENTSPLY’s vision and direction
